PAPER SUBMISSION

Prospective authors are invited to submit either full papers, up to 10 pages in length, or short papers, up to 4 pages in length, where full papers will be for oral presentations and short papers will be mostly for poster presentations. All paper must be written in English. Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three experts in the field. The conference proceedings of the main conference will be published, available and maintained at the APSIPA website. The proceedings will be indexed by EI Compendex.

When preparing the paper, please ensure that its format follows exactly as the template provided below. Do not put page numbers on your document. Appropriate page numbers will be added to the accepted papers that will be included in the conference proceedings. All papers should be submitted via the Easy Chairs system.

In case you have not registered in the Easy Chair system (you have no EasyChair account), you should register first - just click the "sign up for an account" link on the login page and fill in the form. The system will send you an e-mail with the instructions how to finish the registration.

Note: Some email servers may "filter out" the emails automatically sent by the EasyChair system. In case you do not receive an email from EasyChair (it may take some time), try to find it in your "junk" mailbox. Sometimes this does not help and it is necessary to use another email address. (According to our experience, gmail addresses work well.)

In case you forget your username or password of your EasyChair account, follow the link after the words "Forgot your password" on the login page.

APSIPA ASC 2015 follows IEEE Publications Policies

Attendance Policy

At least one author from the submission must be registered at the conference and present at the conference.
Papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors is officially registered and the paper presented. APSIPA reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.


Plagiarism and Dual Submissions

By submitting a manuscript to APSIPA ASC 2015, the authors guarantee that it has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of the current paper is either under review at the moment of submission or will be submitted during the APSIPA ASC 2015 review period to any of the following: another conference, a workshop, or a journal.

Please note that APSIPA ASC 2015 will also process manuscripts through IEEE's plagiarism check software to identify and eliminate plagiarism. This includes excessive self-duplication and dependence on earlier published works, as well as duplicated and unattributed content. APSIPA ASC 2015 asks that your paper's content be original, previously unpublished, non- confidential and without commercial content.

Authorization to publish

The papers of APSIPA ASC 2015 will be published in IEEE Xplore. IEEE assumes that material presented at this conference is properly available for general dissemination to the audiences this conference is organized to serve. It is the responsibility of the authors, not IEEE, to determine whether disclosure of their material requires the prior consent of other parties and, if so, to obtain it. In order to ensure that the authors are aware of their responsibilities, signed IEEE Copyright Forms must be collected for all papers accepted for publication.


Quality

IEEE reserves the right to withhold publishing of proceedings or papers that do not meet the IEEE quality standards.


Number of submissions

Each author is allowed to be the presenter on a maximum of three submissions (total number of submissions for the regular program and special sessions). If you have more than three submissions that are accepted, you must register accompanying co-author(s) to present the additional submissions.
